Assistant Manager-Microbiology

As a candidate for the position at Horizon Biolabs Pvt Ltd., a GLP compliant Pharmaceutical Testing Laboratory in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for planning and organizing daily activities of the Microbiology laboratory functions to ensure the quality of products and test items in compliance with Quality and various regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will include: - Development and validation of various microbiological tests including Microbial enumeration test, Antimicrobial Effectiveness Test, Sterility, Bacterial Endotoxin Test, and Microbiological Assays. - Conducting Water System Validations, Disinfectant Efficacy Test, Hand Sanitizer Efficacy Evaluation, and Environmental Monitoring. - Performing Facility Qualifications for Water and Area. General responsibilities of the job include ensuring microbiological testing is performed as per guidelines, scheduling shifts and tests to meet deadlines, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, investigating and addressing invalid and Out-of-Specification results, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to quality standards such as GMP. You will also be responsible for providing training on laboratory methods, documentation, and data trending activities, as well as guiding and mentoring team members. Additionally, you will review their performance regularly and provide feedback for improvement. Qualifications Required: - MSc in Microbiology - Minimum 6 years of experience in a reputed Pharma Testing Lab, CRO, or Pharmaceutical Industry Location: - Hyderabad, India Experience: - Total work experience: 6-8 years - Experience in Pharma Testing Lab, CRO, or Pharmaceutical Industry: 5 years preferred Job Type: Full-time Schedule: Day shift Benefits: - Provident Fund - Yearly bonus Please note that candidates residing in Hyderabad with knowledge in the specified microbiological tests are preferred for this position.,
