Assistant Manager - Last Mile Delivery

It operates a tech-driven system that allows FMCG companies to distribute & expand their reach by directly supplying products to over 100,000 retail stores in India's top eight cities.Job Responsibilities:-

• Develop vendor leads across cities, maintain strong relationships, and negotiate cost-effective contracts with vendors and third-party delivery partners.
• Monitor vendor performance using reliability metrics and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Track and report key delivery KPIs, including vehicle reliability score, delivered rate, and cost per crate, through regular reviews.
• Ensure all trips are recorded and reconciled in real-time via the driver app, and perform weekly payout reconciliation to avoid overpayments.
• Conduct monthly audits to identify discrepancies and ensure timely disbursement of payouts to vendors and drivers.
• Manage retailer profiling, including geotagging and contact data maintenance.
• Evaluate last-mile delivery design, experiment with changes, and implement improvements to achieve cost and service targets.
• Control and deploy vehicle capacity within defined cost and service guardrails.
  

Desired Skill set:-

• Any Degree
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, with a preference for last-mile delivery (LMD) program..
• Proficiency in English is required; Hindi is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Hands-on experience in creating and managing Excel and Google Spreadsheet reports/dashboards; knowledge of SQL is preferred.
