Job Description

To manage electrical construction activities at the Plant, ensuring timely execution, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards. The role involves coordination with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver high-performance electrical systems supporting defence-grade manufacturing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Supervision

Manage day-to-day electrical construction activities including installation, testing, and commissioning.
Supervise contractors and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.

Technical Oversight

Review electrical designs, single-line diagrams (SLDs), cable schedules, and load calculations.
Ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards and defence-specific electrical codes.

Quality & Safety

Conduct quality checks and inspections during construction phases.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure zero-incident execution.

Coordination & Reporting

Liaise with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for integrated project delivery.
Prepare progress reports, maintain documentation, and support audits.

Vendor & Material Management

Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of electrical materials and equipment.
Validate vendor credentials and ensure adherence to JSWs quality benchmarks.
