Assistant Manager, Civil Engineering

You will be responsible for conducting site surveys and plotting layouts based on provided drawings. Your role will involve interpreting plans and specifications, as well as monitoring the execution of architectural, structural, and finishing work to ensure compliance with the drawings. In addition, you will oversee work progress, quality, and adherence to building codes and regulations. As part of the job, you will be required to prepare and track schedules to ensure the timely completion of projects. Contractor management and bill checking in accordance with the tender Bill of Quantities (BOQ) will also be part of your responsibilities. Effective coordination with seniors, contractors, and other professionals is essential to achieve project outcomes. Daily progress reporting, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and monitoring the quality of works in compliance with relevant standards are key aspects of this role. You will need to inspect materials and assess work quality to ensure alignment with contractual requirements. Conducting on-site testing of materials following Inspection Test Plans (ITP) and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) protocols is also expected. A good understanding of safety practices, permits, and norms is crucial for this position. Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, civil estimation, MS Project/Primavera, as well as knowledge of cleanroom panels, cGMP practices, and various finishes in the pharmaceutical industry will be beneficial for successful project delivery.,
