Assistant Civil & Structural CAD Modeller

You will be responsible for preparing structural 3D BIM (Revit) models and extracting 2D drawings as required. This includes creating General Arrangement and detailed drawings for concrete/steel structures of various industrial buildings and facilities. Your role will involve model building and drawings of building services elements, as well as developing plans, details, and issuing drawings to internal and external clients. You will be expected to ensure the quality of issued GFC drawings and specifications, and coordinate with other disciplines such as Architecture, MEP, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and BMS. Timely completion of deliverables within assigned time limits is a key aspect of this role. As a candidate, you should have a Diploma or graduation in Civil/Structural Engineering with detail design experience for industrial structures. Proficiency in BIM software, including Revit and AutoCAD, is essential. You will also be involved in assisting with modelling and extraction of BOQs. Demonstrating proactive behavior, effective communication skills, and maintaining a professional demeanor at work are important aspects of this role. Additionally, teamwork and multi-disciplinary coordination abilities will be required to excel in this position.
