Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Assistant Pharmacist to support the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy at our family clinic. The candidate will assist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy protocols and standards.

Key Responsibilities.

• Review and interpret prescriptions for accuracy, dosage, and potential interactions.
• Maintain proper storage, labeling, and security of medications.
• Keep accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient details as per clinic protocol.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the pharmacist for ordering supplies.
• Support in checking expiry dates and managing the removal of outdated or damaged medications.
• Assist in patient counseling under pharmacist supervision when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy area.
• Adhere to all regulatory, legal, and safety standards.
• Provide support during audits and inspections.

Qualifications:

• D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
• Basic knowledge of medications, dosages, and dispensing procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy (experience with pharmacy or clinic management software is a plus).

Preferred Requirements:

• Previous experience in a clinic or retail pharmacy setting.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient care basics.
• Candidates with a two-wheeler and valid driving license preferred (for stock transfer or emergency delivery duties if required).

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
