As a Game Development Faculty, you will have the exciting opportunity to share your passion and expertise with students in the field of Unity and Unreal Engine game development. Utilizing your industry experience in game building, including multiplayer mechanics, you will play a vital role in guiding students through practical, project-based learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include designing curriculum that covers a wide range of game development concepts such as gameplay programming, level design, physics, animation, and UI elements. You will teach students how to work with Unity and Unreal Engine for both 2D and 3D game development, as well as introduce them to multiplayer setup, networking concepts, and real-time game mechanics. Furthermore, you will mentor students on integrating AI elements into game design, including NPCs, enemy behavior, and pathfinding. Your role will also involve reviewing and providing constructive feedback on student projects, ensuring that they are aligned with the latest industry trends and practices. To excel in this position, you should have a minimum of 3 years of professional game development experience and be proficient in Unity (C#) and Unreal Engine (Blueprints and C++). Hands-on experience with multiplayer game development tools such as Photon, Mirror, or Steam is essential, along with a solid understanding of AI in games. In addition to technical skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities are crucial for effectively conveying complex game development concepts to students.
