Assembly Specialist - Die/Mould

As a Mould/Die Assembly Fitter, you play a crucial role in the creation and maintenance of moulds and dies used in the manufacturing process. Your responsibilities include assembling, maintaining, and repairing these critical components to ensure production efficiency and product quality. You will be expected to assemble and disassemble moulds and dies based on engineering specifications, conduct regular maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal performance, and inspect and test them for defects, wear, and accuracy. Collaboration with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues is essential, along with maintaining detailed records of maintenance and repair work. Compliance with safety and quality standards is a key priority, and operating various precision tools and machinery related to mould and die fitting will be part of your daily tasks. To qualify for this role, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical education/certification being preferred. Proven experience as a Mould/Die Fitter or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment is required. Strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship are important qualities. Good problem-solving skills, independence in work, a solid understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment, precision machining, technical drawing interpretation, tool and die maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and the use of micrometers and calipers are all skills and qualifications that will help you excel in this role.,
