Job Title: Insurance Executive Location: [Madhyamgram] Compensation: 1.80L – 2.40L CTC Competitive salary with performance-based incentives. Job Overview: You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the end-to-end insurance claim process for clients/customers whose vehicles are being repaired at the workshop. This role acts as a bridge between the clients/customers, insurance companies, surveyors, and the internal workshop team to ensure smooth, timely, and compliant claim settlement. You will also be responsible for initiating and managing tie-ups with insurance companies to become a preferred workshop/authorized repairer in the insurer’s network. Your payout will be subject to: • Achievement of minimum baseline activity or performance targets. • Adherence to brand guidelines and operational protocols. • Timely reporting and coordination with the company team. Key Responsibilities: 1. Identify and Initiate Tie-Up Opportunities • Research and list motor insurance providers and TPAs (Third Party Administrators). • Approach insurance companies for empanelment and preferred workshop status. • Submit required workshop credentials, infrastructure details, certifications, and service records. 2. Proposal & Empanelment Process • Prepare and submit proposals, presentations, and capability decks to insurers. • Coordinate with insurer’s network teams for audits and eligibility verification. • Fulfill documentation and service benchmarks for onboarding. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities (KRAs): 1. Customer Interaction & Documentation • Collect required claim documents from customers (RC, license, FIR, insurance copy, etc.). • Assist customers in filling out claim forms and explain the claim process clearly. • Ensure all customer documents are complete and accurate before submission. 2. Coordination with Insurance Companies • Initiate claims with the respective insurance companies. • Schedule and coordinate with insurance surveyors for vehicle inspection. • Share pre-repair and post-repair images and job cards as required. 3. Surveyor & Assessment Handling • Be present during the insurance survey and provide vehicle damage assessment details. • Ensure timely approval from the insurance company after the survey. 4. Claim Approval & Repair Monitoring • Obtain work authorization post-claim approval. • Coordinate with the workshop team to begin repairs based on insurance approval. • Monitor the repair progress and ensure compliance with insurance company standards. 5. Billing & Settlement • Prepare final invoices in accordance with approved claims. • Submit necessary bills to the insurer for payment. • Follow up for timely disbursal of claim amounts. 6. Reporting & Record Maintenance • Maintain detailed logs of each claim – status, pending documents, delays, issues, etc. • Generate regular reports on claim statuses, rejections, and approvals. • Update claim data in CRM or DMS systems as per company process. 7. Relationship Management • Build a healthy working relationship with insurance company representatives. • Resolve escalations or disputes with professionalism. • Educate customers on their insurance policy coverage, exclusions, and deductibles. Desirable Skills: • Knowledge of motor insurance processes & documentation. • Strong coordination and follow-up skills. • Customer handling and communication. • Basic understanding of automotive damage and repair terms. • Computer literacy (MS Office, DMS/CRM software).
