The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing our companys inventory to ensure accurate and timely management of goods and materials. This includes monitoring inventory levels, conducting physical counts, and ensuring the accuracy of the stock by coordinating with the warehouse and sales teams. The specialist will play a crucial role in preventing discrepancies and ensuring that all inventory transactions are reflected accurately in our system. Key Responsibilities: Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate recording of goods received and sold. Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies. Investigate negative inventory issues to determine the causes and recommend solutions. Oversee the receiving process to ensure accuracy in the quantities and quality of items received. Coordinate with the purchasing and warehouse departments to adjust inventory records. Generate and maintain accurate reports on inventory status for management review. Implement and monitor all inventory procedures to ensure they comply with internal policies. Assist in the development of improvements to existing inventory management system. Qualifications: Experience with Shopify is a plus. Proven experience in inventory management or a related field. Strong understanding of inventory control procedures and relevant software. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data management. Good communication skills for coordinating across departments. Ability to solve problems efficiently and effectively.
