We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist with knowledge of acupressure to provide therapeutic massage and wellness services to clients. The ideal candidate will use a combination of massage techniques and acupressure to promote relaxation, relieve pain, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a client-centered approach, and a commitment to maintaining a professional and calming environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform a variety of massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or relaxation massage) tailored to clients’ needs and preferences. Apply acupressure techniques to stimulate specific pressure points to alleviate pain, improve circulation, and support holistic health. Conduct client consultations to assess physical conditions, medical history, and treatment goals. Develop personalized treatment plans combining massage and acupressure to address client concerns such as stress, muscle tension, or chronic pain. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health and safety regulations. Educate clients on self-care techniques, including stretches, exercises, or acupressure points for at-home practice. Maintain accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress updates. Stay updated on industry trends, massage techniques, and advancements in acupressure therapy. Collaborate with other wellness professionals (e.g., chiropractors, physical therapists) when necessary to support client care. Promote services and build a loyal client base through exceptional care and professional communication. Qualifications: Valid state or national certification/licensure as a Massage Therapist (or equivalent, depending on location). Formal training or certification in acupressure or related modalities (e.g., Shiatsu, Tui Na, or Traditional Chinese Medicine principles). Minimum of [1-2 years] of professional massage therapy experience (preferred). Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and the meridian system used in acupressure. Proficiency in multiple massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients. Ability to assess client needs and customize treatments accordingly. Knowledge of contraindications for massage and acupressure to ensure client safety. Physical stamina to perform multiple massage sessions daily. Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
