AS400 / RPG Developer

You will be responsible for the following in your role as an ISeries AS/400 Programmer: - Utilizing RPG, RPG-ILE, COBOL, SQL in AS/400 environments and DB2 Database. - Writing program specifications and coding based on program specifications. - Working with APIs and various integration techniques across platforms. - Modelling and designing DB2 and SQL on AS/400. - Solving difficult problems and handling a variety of variables without a defined right answer. - Interpreting various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. - Adapting effectively to ambiguity and changing priorities. - Embracing change and supporting others in accepting and transitioning to new systems and processes. - Multitasking in a busy, fast-paced, sometimes stressful, and noisy environment with frequent interruptions. - Working efficiently within customers" time constraints. - Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills, including creating and delivering presentations. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in AS/400 development. - Proficiency in AS400, RPG, and SQL is mandatory. - Strong competency in RPG, RPG-ILE, COBOL, and DB2 Database. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to adapt to changing requirements.
