Job Title: CNC Operator (Wood & Stone) Location: Factory in Hingna MIDC Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: CNC Supervisor / Manufacturing Manager Summary We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines for woodworking and stone applications. The ideal candidate will read and interpret technical drawings, set up and run CNC programs, perform quality checks, and maintain equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate production. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC machines for wood and stone projects according to approved blueprints and specifications. Review design files, tooling lists, and work orders; load programs and materials; verify tool paths and dimensions. Optimize cutting strategies to maximize material yield while minimizing waste and machine wear. Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and feeds, speeds, and parameters; adjust programs as needed. Run first article checks and create or update setup sheets, process documentation, and quality records. Maintain and update machine settings, offsets, and tooling inventory; report worn or damaged tooling. Troubleshoot machine faults, software errors, and material issues; communicate problems to the supervisor with proposed solutions. Perform routine preventive maintenance on CNC machines; log maintenance activities and report anomalies. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of hands-on CNC experience with both woodworking and stone cutting/milling (granite, marble, stone composites, etc.). Familiarity with tool selection for wood and stone (end mills, diamonds, carbide, burrs, diamond saw blades) and appropriate feeds/speeds. Ability to program/edit G-code and verify tool paths. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical diploma or an associate degree in CNC machining, Manufacturing Technology, Wood Technology, Stone Fabrication, or related field preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods; occasional heavy lifting. Ability to work with heavy machinery and comply with safety protocols. May require occasional overtime or shift work to meet production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules. Manage production scheduling, labor allocation, and workflow optimization; balance capacity with demand. Monitor KPIs such as throughput, yield, scrap, downtime, and for-cost performance; implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental policies; promote a culture of safe operation and incident prevention. Oversee quality assurance processes, including in-process checks, final inspections. Manage inventory control, materials planning, and procurement coordination with purchasing; minimize obsolescence and stockouts. Maintain and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and production records.
