About the Role

AI Engineer with 2-5 years of hands-on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered applications using modern AI frameworks and technologies.
• Build and optimize

  Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  pipelines for document-based question answering and knowledge retrieval.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications to develop intelligent conversational systems and AI-powered features.
• Design and implement effective

  prompt engineering

  strategies to improve response accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
• Work with

  vector databases

  to store, index, retrieve, and manage embeddings for semantic search and AI applications.
• Develop document ingestion, text chunking, embedding generation, and retrieval workflows.
• Integrate AI models and services with backend systems, REST APIs, and existing business applications.
• Work with

  MongoDB

  to manage application data, conversation histories, metadata, and other structured or semi-structured information.
• Deploy, manage, and optimize AI applications using

  AWS Cloud services

  .
• Implement efficient data retrieval, context management, and response-generation mechanisms.
• Evaluate AI model performance and improve response quality, latency, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement error handling, logging, monitoring, and debugging for AI-powered applications.
• Apply appropriate data security, access control, and privacy practices when working with AI systems.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical AI solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging AI technologies, LLM capabilities, RAG techniques, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Mandatory)

• 25 years of professional experience

  in AI engineering, machine learning, or AI application development.
• Strong programming skills in

  Python

  .
• Hands-on experience working with

  Large Language Models (LLMs)

  and integrating them into applications.
• Practical experience implementing

  Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

  pipelines.
• Strong understanding of

  prompt engineering

  , prompt optimization, and context management.
• Hands-on experience with

  vector databases

  , such as Pinecone, ChromaDB, FAISS, Weaviate, or similar technologies.
• Understanding of vector embeddings, semantic search, similarity search, and document retrieval techniques.
• Experience with

  MongoDB

  , including data modeling, CRUD operations, and query optimization.
• Practical experience deploying or managing applications on

  AWS Cloud

  .
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party AI service integrations.
• Understanding of document processing, text chunking, embedding generation, and retrieval optimization.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure data handling.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop scalable, maintainable, and production-ready AI applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI frameworks and libraries such as

  LangChain, LlamaIndex, or LangGraph

• Familiarity with LLM providers and APIs, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock.
• Experience with AWS services such as

• Experience building AI chatbots, knowledge assistants, document intelligence systems, or conversational AI applications.
• Understanding of LLM evaluation, hallucination reduction, response grounding, and retrieval quality improvement.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and application deployment practices.
• Knowledge of relational databases and data integration techniques.
• Understanding of AI application monitoring, token usage optimization, latency reduction, and cost management.
• Familiarity with AI agents, tool calling, and multi-step AI workflows.
• Experience with authentication and authorization for enterprise AI applications.
