As a Safety Supervisor at our Pen (Dolvi) location, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and enforcing safety protocols for internal vehicle movement, particularly focusing on slag shifting operations within the plant premises. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and supervising the movement of slag shifting vehicles, ensuring strict adherence to safety guidelines, conducting daily safety checks for drivers and operators, and inspecting vehicle conditions before deployment. One of your key tasks will be to implement and maintain safety measures such as one-way traffic systems, proper signaling, and speed control to prevent accidents and ensure smooth operations. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles follow designated slag shifting routes and dumping protocols, identifying and eliminating unsafe conditions or behaviors, and coordinating with plant operations, logistics, and safety teams for safe movement planning. In addition, you will be required to maintain records of vehicle entry/exit, incidents, and routine inspections, provide safety training and refresher sessions to drivers and workers, investigate vehicle-related incidents, and prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive measures. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and Provident Fund. The work schedule is in the morning shift with a yearly bonus provided. To be considered for this role, you should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Safety Supervisor, hold a Safety Certification, and be willing to reliably commute or relocate to Pen, Maharashtra.
