Role & Responsibilities of Arogyamithra Community Health Manager 1. Leadership & Coordination Act as the link between Arogyamithra Digital Health Centres (DHCs), clinical pharmacy interns, and the community. Plan, implement, and monitor health awareness programs, screening camps, and digital health services. Coordinate with clinical pharmacists, doctors, and digital health coordinators to ensure smooth service delivery. Ensure alignment with Arogyamithra ICDM program objectives in chronic disease management. 2. Working with Clinical Pharmacy Interns Provide field-level orientation and supervision for interns posted under the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) program. Facilitate patient enrollment into ICDM programs (diabetes, hypertension, oncology, etc.). Monitor interns’ tasks such as patient counseling, medication review, ADR monitoring, and digital documentation. Organize case presentations and community-level projects for interns. Act as a mentor ensuring professional development and community engagement for pharmacy trainees. 3. Community Engagement & Outreach Conduct health awareness sessions on lifestyle disorders, maternal & child health, women’s health, and preventive care. Organize door-to-door visits and digital health registrations. Build trust in the community for generic medicines, tele-consultations, and preventive screening services. Identify vulnerable groups (elderly, women, people with disabilities) and link them to appropriate health services. 4. Monitoring & Reporting Maintain records of: Patients enrolled in ICDM programs. Intern activities & progress reports. Submit monthly reports to Arogyamithra program managers. Use digital health tools (mobile apps, dashboards) for real-time monitoring and feedback. 5. Advocacy & Networking Build partnerships with local hospitals, government health departments, NGOs, and private healthcare providers. Advocate for affordable healthcare services and community participation in preventive health programs. Represent Arogyamithra in community health forums, district health meetings, and rural entrepreneurship platforms.
