Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lift Technician to join our team at Arkown Elevator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of elevators, escalators, and other vertical transportation systems. Key Responsibilities: Installation & Commissioning: Install new elevators, escalators, and moving walkways as per company and industry standards. Perform wiring, control panel setup, and alignment of mechanical and electrical components. Conduct system testing and commissioning to ensure safe and smooth operation. Maintenance & Repairs: Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to keep lifts in optimal condition. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults. Replace defective parts and upgrade systems when necessary. Respond to emergency breakdown calls and troubleshoot issues efficiently. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies. Conduct risk assessments and adhere to safety procedures while working at heights or confined spaces. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work. Customer Service & Documentation: Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and maintenance schedules. Provide guidance to customers on proper lift usage and safety measures. Maintain service reports and document completed work for company records. Qualifications & Skills: Education: ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant field. Experience: Minimum 2+ years in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems related to lifts. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
