Area Sales Officer FMCG

Job Title: Area Sales Officer – Products
Location: Coimbatore
Salary: ₹16,000 to ₹18,000 per month (Take Home)
Experience: Minimum 1–2 Years in Dairy or FMCG Sales (Mandatory)
Industry: Dairy / FMCG / Food Products

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage sales of food products in the assigned territory (Coimbatore and nearby areas).
• Appoint and manage distributors, retailers, and stockists to ensure market coverage.
• Achieve monthly sales targets through effective route planning and regular field visits.
• Promote products and implement marketing schemes at retail level.
• Ensure product availability, visibility, and branding at outlets.
• Collect and report market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and promotions.
• Coordinate with supply chain/logistics for timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain daily sales reports and update management on performance.
• Follow up on collections and manage credit limits as per company policy.
• Address customer complaints and ensure satisfactory resolution.

Key Skills Required:

• Knowledge of dairy or FMCG product sales
• Familiarity with the Coimbatore market and local distribution network
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Result-oriented and able to work under pressure
• Basic computer skills – Excel, Email, and WhatsApp reporting
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building abilities

Eligibility Criteria:

• Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 Years in Dairy or FMCG sales (Field Sales)
• Two-Wheeler: Mandatory with valid driving license
• Language: Tamil (Fluent); English (Basic)
