Job Description

An Architectural Draftsman is a professional who prepares detailed technical drawings and plans used in building and construction projects. Their work supports architects, engineers, and designers by turning conceptual designs into precise documents that can be used for approvals, cost estimation, and construction.
Key Responsibilities:

Preparing 2D drawings and 3D models based on architects or engineers sketches
Creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings
Developing construction documentation and working drawings
Ensuring drawings comply with building codes, regulations, and standards
Coordinating with architects, engineers, and consultants
Revising and updating drawings as per client or site requirements
Using CAD and BIM software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ZWcad
