Architectural designer

You are a skilled and creative Architect with expertise in interior design, structural detailing, layout planning, and floor/elevation design. You should have 3-5 years of experience in architectural drafting, space planning, and 3D modeling, with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp. Your responsibilities will include developing detailed architectural drawings such as floor plans, elevations, sections, and structural layouts. Designing interior spaces with functional and aesthetic considerations, creating 3D models and renderings for client presentations using SketchUp & Revit, and collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure structural feasibility. You will also be preparing construction drawings, BOQs, and working drawings in AutoCAD/Revit while ensuring compliance with building codes, standards, and regulations. Modifying designs based on client feedback and site constraints, as well as coordinating with contractors and vendors for material & execution details, will be part of your duties. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or a related field, along with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential/commercial projects. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp is essential, as well as knowledge of interior detailing, space planning, and structural elements. Understanding building codes, materials, and construction methods, and the ability to produce high-quality, accurate technical drawings are required. You must be able to work from the office in Chennai and possess good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with Lumion, V-Ray, or Enscape for rendering, and familiarity with green building/sustainable design practices.
