Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Meet with clients to determine requirements, project objectives, and design needs.
Develop detailed architectural drawings and building plans using software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM).
Prepare initial and ongoing cost estimates, project timelines, and manage special requirements and sustainability goals.
Coordinate with engineers, construction professionals, and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure the feasibility and functionality of the design.
Oversee construction sites, conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Obtain relevant permits and ensure projects comply with all local, national, and international regulations and standards.
Prepare and present reports, proposals, applications, and contracts.
