To ensure that the CCTV control room is maintained in a professional manner and is a secure environment, and is fit for purpose Conduct audits: - CCTV, walkie talkies, HHMD, DFMD, retailers, Keys Train different contingency teams, such as Emergency Response Team (ERT), Fire Fighting Board, Evacuation Team, Medical Team, etc., to handle any emergency situation that may arise at the mall. Responsible for making special security arrangements in case of any events/ promotions/ marketing initiatives happening in the mall Build external business relationships with local government departments and businesses. Preparation of pre-opening checklist as and when required. HEALTH & SAFETY-Fire Ensure all safety-related equipments are in working order at all times and all repair/ preventive maintenance of equipment happens as per schedule. Conduct training of all the team about the emergency procedure, such as • Fire Fighting, Bomb Threat, Emergency evacuation procedure, Accidents and casualty evacuation, and fire drills for all employees of the Mall. Conduct Fire Alarm tests to ensure that all fire detection equipment is verified as working. Maintain & review a written log of checks Conduct mandatory safety and fire prevention audits, ensuring that tenanted areas are also reviewed every month; compile a risk assessment process that highlights areas or tenants that will require more frequent checks & corrective actions Adopt a zero-tolerance approach to safety and fire prevention Maintain an Accident and Incident Book that must be completed in the event of any accident or incident, in conjunction with a reporting, investigation, and follow-up procedure to highlight any common occurrences that can be eliminated Ensure training is provided to staff on all emergency policies, procedures, and regulations to be able to respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safety initiatives and necessary changes Order and maintain facility safety inventory, including supplies and equipment
