Job Description

The SAP ABAP position based in Bengaluru requires a professional with 10-12 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in ABAP RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancements, and Forms) and should be proficient in object-oriented programming (OOPs/OOABAP). Moreover, the candidate should demonstrate experience in ABAP Reports (Classical, Interactive, ALV), Interfaces (BAPI, BDC, EDI-IDoc), and Enhancements (BADI, User Exits, Customer Exits). Expertise in Data Dictionary and performance tuning is a must, along with strong skills in HANA ABAP (e.g., CDS, AMDP, RAP, ODATA). In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. They should have the ability to drive initiatives in volatile environments, be an excellent team player with leadership experience, and have experience in project types such as implementation, support, and upgrades. Strong effort estimation and task management skills are required, along with knowledge of SDLC processes and tools (e.g., XL, MPP). Good-to-have skills for this role include SAP Certification in ABAP, experience in advanced ABAP areas such as Webdynpro and Workflow, knowledge of Enhancement Spots and integration with external applications, and experience with development standards and process management. The primary skills required for this role include SAP ABAP, S/4 ABAP, and RICEF.,
