Architect

You will be joining Gurpreet Singh & Associates as an Architect with 2-3 years of experience. Your role will involve collaborating with senior architects to develop architectural designs, creating accurate drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp, developing 3D models and renderings, preparing design presentations, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring effective design implementation. You will also assist in the preparation of specifications, stay updated with industry trends, and contribute to developing design solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with senior architects to develop architectural designs and project plans. - Create accurate and detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp. - Develop 3D models and renderings to visualize design concepts. - Prepare design presentations and work with clients to incorporate feedback. - Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors for effective design implementation. - Assist in the preparation of specifications, documentation, and permits. - Stay updated with industry trends, building codes, and new software developments. - Contribute to developing design solutions meeting aesthetic and functional project goals. Required Qualifications And Skills: - Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field. - 2-3 years of professional experience in architectural design. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering software (e.g., V-Ray, Lumion, or similar). - Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations. - Experience in preparing detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and renderings. - Excellent communication, teamwork, and presentation skills. - Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving ability. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications: - Masters degree in Architecture (optional). - Experience With Revit Or Other BIM Software. - Knowledge of sustainability practices in design.
