Architect Facade

As an Architect with expertise in Faade Detailing and Shop & Fabrication Drawings, you will be responsible for translating design intent into precise, buildable drawings and coordinating with fabrication teams to ensure seamless execution. Your role will involve preparing detailed faade shop drawings and fabrication packages for curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and other envelope systems. You will interpret architectural and structural drawings to develop accurate faade details and coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and fabricators to resolve technical issues. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring that drawings meet project specifications, fabrication standards, and local codes. You will be expected to maintain drawing logs, revision histories, and documentation workflows, as well as conduct quality checks and redline reviews for accuracy and constructability. Additionally, you will provide support to site teams during installation with clarification drawings and technical guidance. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture or a related field, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in faade detailing, preferably in high-rise or commercial projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and fabrication software such as Inventor and SolidWorks is required. Familiarity with materials like aluminium, glass, steel, and composite panels, as well as an understanding of fabrication processes and tolerances, are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM), knowledge of international faade systems and fabrication standards, and the ability to work under tight deadlines with precision and clarity.
