Position Summary

Computational Designer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement

  computational tools

  to optimize workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and explore generative design opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with

  architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants

  to integrate computational design methodologies into the project lifecycle.
• Utilize

  parametric modeling platforms

  such as

  Rhino + Grasshopper

  and

  Dynamo

  .
• Create

  automation solutions

  using

  C# and Python scripting

  .
• Conduct

  performance analysis

  to support data-driven design decision-making.
• Develop and maintain

  design standards, scripts, and workflows

  to ensure scalability and efficiency across projects.
• Stay up to date with

  emerging technologies

  in computational design, AI-driven design tools, and digital fabrication.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education

  : Bachelors or Masters degree in

  Architecture, Interior Design, Computational Design, or related field

  .

• Experience

  : Minimum

  2 years

  of experience in

  computational design

  within an architectural or interior design context.

• Technical Proficiency

  :

• Parametric Modeling

  : Rhino + Grasshopper, Dynamo (mandatory).

• Programming/Scripting

  : Python, C#, or visual scripting (preferred).

• BIM

  : Strong working knowledge of

  Revit

  and interoperability with computational tools (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of

  design principles, materials, building systems, and construction techniques

  .
• Strong

  collaboration and communication skills

  for effective teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.
• Ability to

  manage multiple projects

  simultaneously while ensuring quality deliverables.
• A

  portfolio showcasing computational design projects

  (mandatory for consideration).

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Experience with

  AI-driven optimization tools

  for design and workflow efficiency.
• Knowledge of

  digital fabrication, computational geometry, and material research

  .
• Familiarity with

  collaborative workflows, data visualization, and interoperability across software platforms

• Experience in

  cloud-based computing

  or scripting for

  large-scale data processing

  in design applications.
• Ability to

  generate multiple design iterations
