Job Description

Design, implement, and administer SIEM/IBM QRadar for SOC operations. Conduct capacity planning and spike analysis (EPS, CPU, memory, storage) and apply tuning for optimal performance and low alert latency. Lead SIEM onboarding and lifecycle management of event sources, Onboard and manage event sources, ensure stable log ingestion, and optimize parsing/normalization. Develop and tune correlation rules, AQL queries, dashboards, reports, and use cases. Perform troubleshooting for ingestion issues, rule failures, offense anomalies, and system performance. Conduct spike analysis for EPS, offense storms, EPS Spike analysis and apply tuning, CPU/memory, and storage utilization; apply tuning to stabilize performance. Simulate alerts, validate detection logic, and enhance threat coverage. Handle configuration management, capacity planning, upgrades, and process improvements. Create SOC dashboards, operational reports, and maintain updated documentation.
