As a Senior GIS Developer in the Development department located in Bhopal, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Project Manager to identify project requirements and customize existing technology solutions to fulfill those needs. Your primary focus will be on GIS (Geographic Information System) product development, where you will design and develop software modules/forms in environments such as .Net, JavaScript, ESRI ArcGIS Web ADF, and ArcGIS JavaScript. You will be proficient in writing code using various software programming/scripting languages, specifically in Microsoft technologies such as C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB.NET, .NET Framework, ESRI Arc GIS SDK for .Net, and others. Additionally, you will develop reports utilizing tools like SSRS, Crystal Reports, and I-Zenda Ad-hoc, and engage in GIS development using open source GIS platforms and Google Map API. Your role will involve creating build packages, deploying releases, conducting research and development activities, and working collaboratively in a team of software developers. Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential for this position. You should have a minimum of 6 to 7 years of experience in developing websites and custom web mapping applications using .Net, ESRI Arc GIS, and related technologies. Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, and HTML is required. Proficiency in web mapping application development using AGOL, ArcGIS Silverlight API, and Javascript API is preferred. You should also have experience working with databases such as SQL Server and ORACLE, including schema design and writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and views. Familiarity with ArcSDE geo database platform, Teleriks R.A.D. Editor, front-end UI design, and creating Crystal/SSRS/Ad-hoc reports will be advantageous for this role.
