We are looking for a sharp, client-focused individual to be the primary driver of our market expansion. Role Summary: The Face of the Company The BDE will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new Solar EPC contracts, with a strong emphasis on exceptional client relationship management, negotiation, and professional presentation. The ideal candidate will be an articulate, polished, and technically confident individual capable of representing our brand and converting complex technical proposals into successful business deals. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. Professional Presentation & Client Management High-Impact Presentations: Prepare and deliver persuasive, professional techno-commercial presentations to potential clients (C&I owners, societies, builders) clearly explaining the ROI, technology, and benefits of our Solar EPC solutions. Building Rapport: Act as the primary point of contact, building long-term, trusting relationships with prospects and key decision-makers. Stakeholder Communication: Manage all written and verbal communications with potential clients with the highest degree of professionalism and clarity. 2. Marketing & Lead Generation Field Activities: Actively perform market mapping and cold-calling/field visits to generate new leads in target sectors. Lead Qualification: Conduct initial screening of leads, including basic site visits and feasibility checks, to qualify them for the sales pipeline. 3. Sales & Business Closure Proposal Coordination: Work closely with the internal technical team to ensure that proposals are accurate, competitive, and tailored to the client's specific energy needs. Negotiation: Lead commercial negotiations, handling objections related to price, payment terms, and technical specifications to secure the final EPC contract. Sales Pipeline: Accurately track all sales activities, pipeline status, and customer information. Required Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Experience: 1 to 3 years of proven experience in Sales or Business Development, with direct experience in the Solar EPC or Renewable Energy sector being highly preferred. Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Solar systems, components (Inverters, Panels, Structures), Net Metering, and financial concepts like ROI and Payback Period. Mandatory Skills & Personality Traits Exceptional Communication: Fluent and persuasive in English and Hindi. Superior Presentation Skills: Proven ability to deliver information clearly, confidently, and professionally to executive-level audiences. Strong Personality: Enthusiastic, self-motivated, tenacious, and resilient in handling client objections and rejections. Goal-Oriented: A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Driving: Must possess a valid driving license for local travel to client sites. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Success Your performance will be measured based on: Lead Generation: Number of Qualified Leads (SQLs) generated per month. Pipeline Value: Total estimated value of projects in the active sales pipeline. Revenue Achieved: Value of EPC Contracts Signed per Quarter. Client Meetings: Number of face-to-face introductory and proposal meetings conducted per week.
