Role & responsibilities Role Responsibilities Design and develop new farm equipment and continuously improve existing agricultural machinery. Lead 3D modelling, prototyping, and testing of machine components and assemblies. Build and validate working prototypes, ensuring functional and performance requirements are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality, vendors) to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Conduct research on materials, components, and industry trends to integrate best practices into product development. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and certification requirements. Prepare detailed technical drawings, documentation, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Perform field validation and support shop-floor activities to troubleshoot and optimize designs. Coordinate with vendors for product development, quality parameter finalization, and supplier approval. Preferred candidate profile Diploma,Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2+ years of experience in product design and development. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong understanding of farm equipment functionality and user needs. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
