Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer with strong expertise in millwork, modular joinery, and project coordination. The ideal candidate should be able to balance creative thinking with technical execution, and independently manage drawings, materials, site coordination, vendors, and client communications across all project stages. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed shop drawings for wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, doors, wooden ceilings, panelling, and other fixed furniture. Develop kitchen and wardrobe plans with functional layouts and accurate module-based detailing. Generate cutting lists, BOMs, and technical sheets for factory coordination. Coordinate with the factory team, vendors, and site team to ensure timely execution of design items and mockups. Attend client, architect, and inter-departmental meetings to align on design intent, materials, timelines, and approvals. Prepare mood boards, sample boards, and presentation decks for internal and client reviews. Maintain and update the design material library. Collaborate with architects to develop conceptual drawings and translate them into executable design packages. Skills Required Strong in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office. Deep knowledge of materials, hardware, joinery details, and modular construction. Excellent communication skills – verbal and visual. Ability to handle client interactions, vendor meetings, and project coordination independently. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires strong technical understanding of millwork and modular furniture, materials, and joinery systems. Key Responsibilities: Generate accurate cutting lists for sheets, panels, laminates, edge-banding, and hardware. Interpret AutoCAD shop drawings and convert them into production-ready BOMs. Work closely with the design team to clarify dimensions, joinery details, and material specifications. Coordinate with the factory production team for panel optimization and material utilization. Assist CNC/Nesting team with cutting breakdowns for efficient production. Verify drawings and flag any errors, mismatches, or missing details. Prepare and maintain BOMs, material sheets, and data logs for each project.
