Responsibilities: * Collaborate with production team on CNC operations. * Ensure quality control through program testing. * Maintain accurate records of programs and changes. * Create CNC programs using industry standards.
- He should have deep knowledge of the ISO 9001-2015 standard, and if he has knowledge of the IATF 16949-2016 standard, then he will have an advantage. - He Should have good knowledge of handling the quality team (manpower). - He should have good knowledge about CSR (Customer Specific Requirement). - He should have good knowledge for calibration. - He should have experience with both internal and external audits, those from customers and certification bodies. - He should have experience in ensuring that external suppliers and their components meet the required quality standard. - He Should have brief knowledge of 5 core quality tools, such as APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, and FMEA. - He Should have brief knowledge of the handling of customer complaints. and CAPA, 8D, and SCAR. - He should have brief knowledge of continuous improvement, Kaizen, and Poka Yoke. - He Should have brief knowledge of RCA (Root Cause Analysis). - He Should have knowledge of developing and training team members to improve their skills. - He Should have knowledge of meticulousness in inspection, documentation, and process monitoring. - He should have practical knowledge of using measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, profile projectors, special gauges, and standard gauges. - He Should have good knowledge of 7 QC tools.
Role & responsibilities a) Supervise the daily operations of furnace equipment and related systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. b) Lead, train, and mentor a team of furnace operators and technicians, promoting a positive work environment and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. c) Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, including LOTO procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant environmental and operational regulations. d) Develop and maintain quality control processes to meet production goals and industry standards, working closely with production and quality managers. e) Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot technical issues related to furnace operations to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. f) Analyse production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement, and contribute to technological innovation and energy-saving initiatives. g) Prepare and present reports on furnace operations, covering production efficiency, safety incidents, and process improvements to management. g) Manage departmental labour, equipment, and maintenance budgets effectively. Skills a) In-depth knowledge of furnaces, related processes, and automation, potentially gained from a background in Melting technology, process engineering, or manufacturing. b) Strong leadership skills with a people-oriented approach, along with excellent communication and analytical skills to effectively manage a team and present data. c) Experience with quality and safety management systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001. d) Several years of experience in an industrial production environment, such as brass, copper, aluminum, & product manufacturing. e) The ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve them efficiently.
