You will be responsible for operating a CNC cutting machine (plasma cutting, flame cutting) and preparing and loading raw materials and parts onto the machines. Your main tasks will include understanding specifications of the task at hand, translating instructions into computer commands, and supervising the machines while they execute the tasks. Additionally, you will need to prepare a test run to check if the machines produce outputs according to specifications and set machines to complete full cycles to fabricate a large number of parts. It will be your responsibility to make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result and inspect and measure finished products to compare them with requirements. To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience as a CNC operator or be a fresher with the willingness to learn. You must have skills in operating CNC machinery and tooling, as well as precision measurement tools. The ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings is crucial, along with being computer savvy with a basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM. Mechanical aptitude, good math skills, a keen eye for detail, and a results-driven approach are essential qualities for this position. Good communication abilities are also required.
