As a Service Technician Apprentice at Nordex, you will embark on a comprehensive apprenticeship programme designed to provide you with a supportive learning environment to acquire hands-on experience in servicing wind turbines while pursuing a recognized Engineering Multi-skilled Apprenticeship qualification. Throughout the programme, you will work alongside experienced teams, gaining insights into the service process and developing a deep understanding of the responsibilities of a service technician. Your journey as an apprentice at Nordex will involve a blend of academic learning and practical experience. The first year will be dedicated to academic requirements at college, followed by the subsequent years focusing on practical training and applying your theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. To be considered for this apprenticeship opportunity, you should possess 5 National 5s or equivalent qualifications with a minimum of grade C in Mathematics, English, and Science. Additionally, you must be comfortable working at heights, pass a medical examination, demonstrate a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and enhance your skills, enjoy problem-solving, and thrive in a team-oriented environment essential for keeping Nordex wind turbines operational and producing renewable energy.
