Applications Support Analyst with Python/Java

Role Overview: The Data Solutions organization at Citi is dedicated to fostering a data-driven culture through innovative technology solutions and improved access to quality data and business intelligence. As a member of the Data Solutions Production Management team, you will be responsible for offering crucial application management and support to SMBF clients worldwide. The team emphasizes technical and operational excellence through engineering, innovation, learning, risk management, and automation in systems and user environments. Key Responsibilities: - Provide essential business and technical support to the Institutional Client Group (ICG) to ensure smooth operation of platforms and services for clients. - Engage with stakeholders to address issues and queries, collaborating with technology partners to develop long-term solutions. - Participate in disaster recovery testing, application releases, post-release checkouts, and the creation of technical support documentation. - Analyze applications for risks, vulnerabilities, and security issues, working with Development colleagues to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirements. Qualifications Required: - Possess 4-8 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Java/AngularJS development. - Proficiency in Java, JEE technologies, Python, AngularJS, jQuery, Express/Node.js, UNIX, SQL, and scripting is essential. - Basic understanding of financial markets and products, problem management tools, and business strategy. - Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are crucial for success in this position.
