Applications Manager - LifePRO

As a skilled software developer, you will be joining an experienced applications development team to work on life systems (insurance) with my client. Your responsibilities will include designing, coding, testing, modifying, and implementing software solutions. This role requires you to liaise with development managers, write clean, scalable code, create testing protocols, fix bugs, and deploy programs. To excel in this position, you must have in-depth knowledge of EXL-LifePRO, focusing on functionality and back-end framework. Proficiency in programming languages such as COBOL, C#.NET, and REST web services is essential. Responsibilities: - Maintain, configure, tune, and administer the LifePRO application to ensure application integrity and reliability. - Work in an Agile manner with Github and JIRA. - Write and implement clean, scalable code. - Troubleshoot and debug code. - Verify and deploy software systems. - Implement solutions from various back-end web services and databases. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. - Minimum of 5 years" work experience with a focus on LifePRO. - Knowledge of software systems and frameworks including C#.NET, COBOL, GitHub, and SQL. - In-depth knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and Service-Oriented Architecture. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team on projects. - Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.,
