Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Application Security Presales Consultant located in Bengaluru. The Application Security Presales Consultant will be responsible for supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise in application security. Day-to-day tasks include conducting security assessments, developing security solutions, creating and delivering presentations to customers, and responding to requests for proposals (RFPs). Additionally, the role involves understanding customer requirements, devising security strategies, and providing consultations to help clients achieve their security goals.

• Identify & capitalize on new opportunities, expanding the service portfolio & client base.
• Lead presales activities, crafting compelling proposals & securing new deals. Develop & implement effective sales strategies & GTM plans.
• Lead the presales process, identifying client needs & presenting customized TVM solutions.
• Manage key client relationships, ensuring their satisfaction & driving long-term loyalty.
• Manage relationships with key 3rd parties, ensuring they support practice goals & build new opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery & client satisfaction.
• Contribute to Blogs, Whitepapers, POV.
• 10-15 years of experience in Application Security Presales.
• Desirable: Security certifications Extensive knowledge of Red Teaming, DevSecOps, VM, DAST, SAST, IST, IAST, CST, IoTST, & Social Engineering.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Excellent strategic thinking & business acumen. Passion for client success & service excellence.

Mandatory Skills:

Presales,Vulnerability Assessment,Vulnerability Mitigation,Penetration Testing,Manual Penetration Testing using OWASP checklists,Static Code analysis,IOT Security,Social Engineering Methods,DevOps CI/CD pipeline,Static/dynamic testing of mobile applications

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of application security principles and best practices
• Experience in conducting security assessments and developing security solutions
• Skilled in creating and delivering technical presentations
• Proficiency in understanding customer requirements and devising security strategies
• Experience with creating and responding to requests for proposals (RFPs)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and technical teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are a plus
