Project Role : Application Lead Project Role Description : Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Must have skills : Finastra Fusion Trade Innovation (TI+) Good to have skills : No Function Specialty Minimum 7.5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary :As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your day will involve overseeing the application development process and ensuring seamless communication within the team and stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities:1. Collaboration with Functional Team:Study, evaluate and provide feedback on functional requirements / user stories produced by Product Owners and Business Analysts. Collaboration with Technical Lead:Work closely with the Technical Lead to develop detailed technical specifications / technical design. Liaise with product owners, business analysts for clarification and understanding of requirements / user stories.3. Software Engineering:Estimate the cost of development and Implement solutions in line with business requirements and in accordance with CACIB development standards.4. DevSecOps Integration:Incorporate and implement DevSecOps principles into the Software Development Life Cycle, embedding security through design, continuous testing, and automation to deployment.5. Deployment:Collaborate with IT teams to deploy CACIB trade finance solution to production environments and ensure smooth operation.6. Monitoring:Monitor production systems to ensure high availability and performance.7. Issue Analysis and Resolution:Actively participate in analyzing and resolving issues throughout different software development life cycles (incl. production support).8. Documentation:Write Specifications, technical designs and detailed system integration documents. Produce any other documents required throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and coordinate application deployment activities in Production.9. Coaching and Training:Coach, quality review (peer review) and training junior software engineers, helping them grow into important IT roles. Professional & Technical Skills:1. Java Language:Minimum hands-on experience of 8 years in core concepts and features introduced in Java 8 or later with knowledge in Spring Framework.2. Trade Finance / FBTI:Proven experience in trade finance domain, especially with FBTI application from FINASTRA.3. Databases:Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle and SQL.4. OS & Middleware:Experience on Linux (Red hat), JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat and IBM MQ.5. CI/CD concept:Experience with continuous integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment pipelines (GitLab CI, Maven, ANT").6. Version Control:Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.7. Integrated Development Environments:Experience with Eclipse or IntelliJ.8. Code Quality:Strong understanding of code quality practices, including code reviews, unit testing / TDD, and integration testing. Experience with SonarQube and Checkmarx source code analysis tools.9. Knowledge of international trade & commodity finance domain or basic banking experience is an advantage.10. Good understanding of SDLC and Agile Scrum practices.
