About The Role

Project Role Application Lead

Project Role Description Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.
Must have skills Data Engineering, Python (Programming Language), AWS Administration, AWS Glue

SummaryAs an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications are aligned with business objectives and user needs, while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of milestones.

Direct experience in the AWS stack.

A Solutions Architect certificate would be great or Data Analytics, but this one mean less than experience.

S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Step Functions, Lambda

IAM experience for data security.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in AWS Data Engineering, Python (Programming Language) (object-oriented programming concepts not just scripting), AWS, SQL, ETL/Dags and some data modeling.

Good To Have
Skills:

IAC and FIX, AWS Certification

Strong understanding of DAGs and ETL/data pipeline concepts, including orchestration tools (any of airflow/dagster/step functions/DBT)

Experience with infrastructure-as-code (any of Terraform/CloudFormation/AWS CLI)

Knowledge of data modeling concepts.

FIX experience is a nice-to-have but not strictly necessary
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5+ years of experience in in Python, SQL, and AWS

This position is based at our Pune office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
Qualification 15 years full time education
