About The Role

Project Role :Application Lead

Project Role Description :Lead the effort to design, build and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact.
Must have skills :Microsoft Windows Server Administration

Good to have skills :Microsoft Hyper-V Server, Vmware Virtualization Administration

Summary:As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that application requirements are met, overseeing the development process, and providing guidance to team members. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the applications are functioning optimally and meeting the needs of the organization. Your role will require effective communication and coordination with stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.

Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards. Professional & Technical

Must Have
Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server Administration/Vmware /Hyper V

Strong understanding of server configuration and management.

Experience with troubleshooting and resolving server-related issues.

Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions for Windows Server environments.

Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.

Good experience in Windows Server Patching/Vmware ESXI patching

Minimum 2+yrs of relevant experience for L1 and 5+yrs of experience for L2 is preferable.

Knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory Services like DNS, DHCP & Site and Services.

Knowledge on Hyper-V servers and to manage Hyper-V server with all features enabled.

Knowledge on Vmware Vcenter/ESXi servers and to manage Vmware server with all features enabled.

Troubleshooting issues related to performance on Windows Operating systems, Hyper-V,Vmware Vcenter/Vmware ESXi H/W issues,

Experience on Datacenter Management & PowerShell scripting

Should be open for 24/7 rotational shifts.

Good verbal and written communications skills.

Experience in Service Now Incident and Change modules is a plus with ITIL knowledge.

Knowledge on Microsoft Azure is desirable

Certifications:- MCP/MCSE/MCSA/VCP/AZ-104 (Any one is Preferable)

Knowledge on Backup (Optional).
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 5-7 years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server Administration.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
Qualification 15 years full time education
