Application Engineering Manager, Spaces Engineering

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience. You have acquired 15 years of experience in designing and integration of internal and third-party applications. Additionally, you have experience in API and enterprise architecture development, working with technical vendors (e.g. systems integrators), Google-wide technologies, Software Development Life Cycle, and agile methodologies. Your understanding of corporate real estate processes and Integrated Workplace Management System is commendable. At Corp Eng, you will be involved in building world-leading business solutions that scale a more helpful Google for everyone. As a part of Google's IT organization, you will provide end-to-end solutions for organizations across Google, delivering the right tools, platforms, and experiences for all Googlers as they create more helpful products and services for everyone. Your responsibilities will include driving the multi-year technology roadmap for Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) applications, with a focus on third-party integrations. You will lead large-scale technical projects from inception to completion, manage technical engineering delivery by the team and engineering service suppliers, oversee application development, systems integration, and ensure engineering excellence. Building, mentoring, and managing a high-performing engineering team will be crucial, along with influencing technical direction and collaborating with stakeholders. Your expertise in solving problems, providing technical guidance in application engineering and enterprise architecture, and contributing to team culture and operational improvements will be key contributions to the role.,
