Job Description

Job Summary:

API Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain
RESTful or GraphQL APIs
for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate with front-end, mobile, and DevOps teams to integrate and optimize APIs.
Build scalable, reusable, and secure API services and middleware.
Design and manage
API documentation
using tools like Swagger, Postman, or OpenAPI.
Develop and maintain
microservices
using frameworks such as
Node.js, Express, Spring Boot, Django, or Flask
.
Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys).
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry standards.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

Experience with
API Gateway and management platforms
(Kong, Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management).
Familiarity with
message brokers
(RabbitMQ, Kafka, AWS SQS).
Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
and
DevOps practices
.
Knowledge of
containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
.
Exposure to
cloud environments
(AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with
GraphQL
or
gRPC
APIs.
Understanding of
microservices architecture
and distributed systems.
