Application Developer

As a Software Developer at SCALEsdm India, you will be responsible for designing and implementing demanding features into existing software while optimizing code for improved efficiency and usability. You will follow software development processes based on agile methodologies and actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, starting from requirements gathering to architecture, design, implementation, review, and deployment. Additionally, you will seamlessly integrate into a multisite, multicultural, and multinational software development team. Your role will also include assisting in troubleshooting development and production-related technical issues and having the opportunity for direct interaction with customers to understand their needs, enabling improvements and bug fixes in the software. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software application development. You must possess hands-on experience in Python and JavaScript development for at least 3 years and familiarity with Widget Framework for Desktop, preferably Qt, and JavaScript Framework, preferably Angular. Experience with REST-Clients and Servers is also required, along with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and SQL databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL. Moreover, you should have expertise in CI/CD and version control systems, particularly Git, for managing code repositories, branching, and collaboration. A passion for technology, staying up to date with the latest web development trends, and applying the latest technologies to product development is essential. Being a good team player and a dynamic individual who is fun to work with is highly valued. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or possess comparable knowledge in the domain of software and web application development. A Master's degree would be preferred.
