SummaryAs an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with various teams to understand their needs, developing solutions that align with business objectives, and ensuring that applications are optimized for performance and usability. You will also engage in problem-solving activities, providing support and enhancements to existing applications while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning & LeadershipDefine and drive the performance test strategy in collaboration with IT, business stakeholders, and release managersLead the planning and execution of performance testing phases including system integration, workflow validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing goals and timelines Metrics & ReportingCollect and analyze performance metrics such as response times, CPU/memory usage, and transaction throughputDocument findings and provide test summaries and dashboards for stakeholdersEnsure defect management and triage, coordinating with vendors and development teams for resolution Team Coordination & CommunicationLead and mentor offshore and onsite testing teams, assigning tasks and tracking progressFacilitate meetings, status updates, and stakeholder communicationsEnsure proper documentation and traceability of test cases and resultsTechnical
Skills:
Tool & Environment ManagementManage performance testing environments and ensure readiness for test executionCollaborate with environment and data management teams to prepare test data and simulate real-world scenarios Skills RequiredProficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, and Unix shell scriptingStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with performance monitoring tools and test automation frameworks.Excellent communication and leadership abilitiesTechnical ExecutionDevelop and execute performance test plans, scenarios, and scripts using tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, Dynatrace, and SplunkMonitor system behavior under load and identify bottlenecks, memory leaks, and latency issuesConduct various types of performance testingstress, endurance, throughput, and concurrent testing
Additional Information: The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Micro Focus LoadRunner.This position is based at our Chennai office.A 15 years full time education is required.
