Clients - Saudi Arabia Current below designations are positions available Senior Integration applications Architect Application architecture Senior ESS applications Architect Application architecture\ Senior BSS applications Architect Application architecture Job title: Senior Integration applications Architect Application architecture The Application architecture is one of several architecture domains that form the pillars of an enterprise architecture or solution architecture. Application architect responsibility goes around managing and identifying the opportunities to adopt new applications and technology trends in order to support current and future business needs. Also, determine the industry standard, best approach and practice to utilize technologies beside avoiding potential conflicts and overlapping. Ensure technologies compliance to organization policies and guidelines. Application architect develops the high-level applications roadmap for coming years according to valuable and proven technologies in technology market. Responsibilities/ job description: Alignment of applications strategy and planning with overall company's strategy and business goals. Develop long-term strategic roadmaps for the company's integration capabilities and applications. Communicate applications roadmap with applications design, implementation, operation departments and all responsible departments for compliance and alignment. Communicate with other EA applications domains (OSS, ESS and BSS) and EA business, data, infrastructure and cloud\digital platforms to complement the overall enterprise recommendation and suggestions. Review technology sector projects proposals to ensure no functional duplication or divergent from organization business and technology strategies. Determine enhancement opportunities for integration/API management applications and the right time and approaches to acquire the technologies related. Direct or indirect involvement in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of integration/API management technologies within the enterprise. Assess the gaps between the As-Is and To-Be integration/API management architectures and define transition strategies and roadmap for addressing those gaps. Manage the evolution of As Is integration/API management (API management, gateways, ESB, ETL, microservices integration ..etc ) architecture component and lead the development of To-Be based on agreed leading frameworks, e.g. SOA, and TMF Framework. Perform regular update on application architecture documentation based on the changes in the environments and update on application strategies. Participate in product selection for the integration/API management applications area. Involvement in major all integration/API management applications major changes and initiatives for assessment, determine the right approaches from architecture perspective in addition to spread the value over the enterprise. Required Qualification / Experience BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related technology degree Masters degree in Computer Science, Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication Engineering is preferred 15+ years experience in IT\Network technologies. Telecom field is preferred. 10+ years experience in applications integration/API management. Telecom field is preferred. 10+ years experience as applications architect. Telecom field is preferred. Strong knowledge in IT and Telco applications and technologies Strong experience in integration/API management functions (API management, ESB, microservices integration, integration patterns, ETL etc ). Strong knowledge in telco industry standards ( e.g. TM forum ODA, OpenAPI, eTOM, TAM and SID) Worked on well-known IT and Telco applications and technologies provided by leader vendors in the same field. Participated in large scale (enterprise) IT\Telco applications projects and implementations. Proved ability to stay abreast in industry and technology trends High communication, negotiation skills with proven influence. Comprehensive view (big picture), the ability to see how the whole system parts can interact with each other. Aware about new application technologies specifically for integration/API management. Good knowledge of the business for which the enterprise architecture is being developed Interpersonal and leadership skills time and stress management, presentation skills, teamwork, self-awareness, confidence and leadership skills. Ability to manage applications & technology conflicts especially in integration/API management.
