Job Description

As an Application Architect at our company, your role will involve leading the design and implementation of security automation workflows. You will be responsible for architecting scalable systems that integrate seamlessly with security scanning and management tools. Your deep expertise in application architecture and enterprise integration patterns will be crucial for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and architect end-to-end security automation solutions for Platforms, web applications, and APIs. - Lead integration efforts with CMDB, security scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, ArmorCode), and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow). - Define and enforce architectural standards, secure coding practices, and automation workflows within the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure robust, scalable, and secure application architectures. - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance security automation and integration capabilities. - Mentor engineering teams on architectural best practices and security automation strategies. **Mandatory Skills:** - Application Architecture: experience in architecting and designing scalable, secure, and maintainable applications. - Integration Patterns: experience with REST APIs, webhooks, and middleware for tool/platform integration. - Workflow Automation: hands-on experience architecting automated workflows. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages for prototyping and automation, including Python. - DevOps Practices: experience with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code for On-prem & Cloud deployments. **Good to Have Skills:** - Security Tools Implementation and Integration: Experience in architecting implementation and integration of security scanning and management tools like Fortify, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Burp Suite, Qualys WAS, ArmorCode, or similar. - ITSM and ERP Integration: Experience in designing and implementing integration workflows between security automation and ITSM platforms like ServiceNow and ERP systems like SAP. - AI-First Engineering: Apply AI-First software engineering principles and evangelize fit-for-purpose AI leverage. In addition, the ideal candidate for this role would have: - Overall 10-15 years of relevant experience with 5+ years in Application architecture, security design, and development-related roles. - A proven track record of architecting and integrating security automation solutions using Agile methodologies. - Proficiency with Secure SDLC practices and familiarity with popular Security Testing tools. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Certifications like TOGAF, or Cloud Solution Architect are a plus.,
