Application Architect - Backend Development

The Applications Team, where you will be a part of, is responsible for driving the design, development, and delivery of scalable, secure, high-performing applications that align with business goals. It is crucial to ensure that all application solutions are integrated, optimized, and support our clients" digital transformation strategies. Your role as an Application Architect involves defining the application architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering innovative solutions. Collaboration with stakeholders is key to designing scalable, robust, and secure applications while adhering to industry standards and best practices. You will be responsible for developing application architecture frameworks, leading end-to-end design, translating business requirements into architectural blueprints, providing technical oversight, conducting architectural reviews, evaluating emerging technologies, documenting application architectures, and driving standardization and reusability across solutions. Troubleshooting complex architectural challenges and supporting pre-sales teams in crafting technical proposals for application-related projects are also part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance application architectures using microservices, SOA, or event-driven paradigms. Proficiency in programming languages like Java, .NET, Python, or JavaScript is essential. Strong experience in cloud-native application development on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, .NET Core, or similar is required. Experience with API design, RESTful services, integration patterns, relational and NoSQL databases, DevOps practices, and Agile methodologies will be beneficial. Having certifications such as TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification, cloud certifications like AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or SAFe Agilist, and certifications in programming or application development will be advantageous. A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is also preferred.
