Department: Production / Assembly Location: Factory (Binola or as applicable) Reports To: Production Supervisor / Factory Manager 1. Job PurposeTo assemble, fit, install, and support the manufacturing of façade access systems (BMU components, davits, monorail trolleys, cradles, and mechanical structures) ensuring high-quality workmanship, precision, and safety. 2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Assembly & FittingPerform mechanical fitting of BMU components, frames, trolleys, cradles, and structural parts. Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication sketches, and BOMs. Carry out drilling, grinding, cutting, welding assistance, and alignment tasks. Fit mechanical subassemblies like winches, gearboxes, rail wheels, and safety devices. B. Quality & InspectionEnsure measurements and tolerances as per drawings. Report fabrication defects or design mismatches. Conduct pre-assembly and final inspection of fitted parts. C. Tools & Machine HandlingOperate power tools (grinders, drilling machines, hydraulic tools). Maintain tools and ensure safe operation. D. Safety & ComplianceFollow company safety policies and PPE requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation. E. Support ActivitiesAssist welding and fabrication teams when required. Participate in installation or site work occasionally (optional based on company need). 3. Required Skills & QualificationsITI Fitter / Mechanical Trade certification (preferred). 4-6 years of fitting experience in mechanical manufacturing. Ability to read engineering drawings. Knowledge of mechanical assemblies, fabrication, and hand tools. Basic understanding of safety standards. 4. Behavioural CompetenciesTeam player with a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work under deadlines. Problem-solving and initiative-taking mindset. 5. Physical RequirementsAbility to lift mechanical components. Comfortable standing for long durations. Good hand–eye coordination.
