We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Executive to join our procurement team in the FMCG sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and procuring goods & services that meet the Company's needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: Vendor Sourcing and Selection - Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers. Evaluate supplier capabilities, including financial stability, production capacity, and quality control measures. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure mutual benefits. Purchasing Management - Create and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Track orders and manage deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods. Collaborate with inventory control teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. Budget and Cost Control - Develop and manage procurement budgets, tracking spending and analyzing variances. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or delivery. Compliance and Documentation - Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience - At least 2 years of experience in procurement within the FMCG sector. Education - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Skills - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in English (verbal and written). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with MS Excel for data analysis and record-keeping. As a fitter, your main responsibility will be to fabricate, fit, and assemble mechanical systems and structural components to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include analyzing blueprints and technical drawings, using welding equipment to securely join components, inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality, performing maintenance checks and repairs on mechanical systems, and conducting diagnostic testing to identify and solve malfunctions. Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate records of your work and materials used while adhering to all safety regulations and standards on the worksite. To qualify for this role, you should have a high school qualification or equivalent, with relevant technical certifications being preferred. You must also have proven experience as a fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry, with strong knowledge of welding techniques and familiarity with hand and power tools such as saws and drills. As a successful candidate, you should be proficient in using welding equipment and other relevant machinery, possess good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, and demonstrate strong organizational skills to efficiently manage multiple tasks. A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required for this position.
