Purchasing Executive

As a Purchase Head at Apple Edibles and Logistics Pvt Ltd., you will play a crucial role in the procurement team of the FMCG sector. Your responsibilities will include: - Vendor Sourcing and Selection: - Conducting thorough market research to identify potential suppliers. - Evaluating supplier capabilities, such as financial stability, production capacity, and quality control measures. - Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers for mutual benefits. - Purchasing Management: - Creating and processing purchase orders with accuracy and compliance with company policies. - Tracking orders and managing deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods. - Collaborating with inventory control teams to maintain optimal inventory levels. - Budget and Cost Control: - Developing and managing procurement budgets, tracking spending, and analyzing variances. - Identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and timely delivery. - Compliance and Documentation: - Maintaining accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and invoices. - Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. To qualify for this role, you should have: - At least 10 years of experience in procurement within the FMCG sector. - A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Proficiency in English (verbal and written). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work with MS Excel for data analysis and record-keeping. - Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
